Faculty Appointment - Child Division Inpatient Attending

        Instructor in Psychiatry (Child) in the Department of Psychiatry

       Educational responsibilities will involve the teaching and supervision of medical students and residents, supervising the clinical training of medical students and residents, and participation in didactic teaching programs, journal clubs, and related activities

·         Clinical responsibilities will be to provide clinical services for the child division participating in the supervision and teaching of residents and medical students, as well as a role on the St. Louis Children’s Hospital (SLCH) Inpatient Services.

·         The role within the SLCH Inpatient Unit Services (14-bed unit with a projected opening in Spring 2019, with initial and ongoing program development of unit with other Inpatient Unit faculty members) would be a role that would have the potential to merge leadership, access to very needy patient populations, the support of inter-disciplinary clinical teams, and the opportunity to parlay work into scholarly contributions.

·         Employment at the University will be at 100% of full-time equivalence

·         Any incentive or bonus compensation, and total compensation for subsequent academic years, will be determined in accordance with the faculty compensation policies of the Department of Psychiatry

Eligible physician candidates much have a medical degree or equivalent degree, completed training in General, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, be ABPN board eligible in General Psychiatry and working toward board certification in General Psychiatry by 2019, and possess or be fully eligible for a Missouri medical license at the time of appointment.
