Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology Faculty Member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Clinical responsibilities include participation in the care of pediatric and adolescent patients at Washington University Hospitals, outpatient clinics and coverage for in-patient consults at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The faculty member will be an active participant in the clinical, research and academic services in the Division of PAG, including teaching responsibilities for Washington University medical students and OB/GYN residents and fellows.
Founded in 1879, St. Louis Children's Hospital is one of the premier children's hospitals in the United States and the oldest pediatric hospital west of the Mississippi river. The hospital provides a full range of pediatric services to the St. Louis metropolitan area and a primary service region covering six states. As the pediatric teaching hospital for Washington University School of Medicine, the hospital offers nationally recognized programs for physician training and research. St. Louis Children's Hospital is recognized as one of America's top children's hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, which in 2015 ranked the hospital in all 10 specialties surveyed.
Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, and possess excellent clinical, surgical, interpersonal and teaching skills. Candidates who have completed fellowship training n PAG will receive preferential consideration.
Candidates will also participate in clinical care for adult gynecology patients based on volume of pediatric services.
