The Heart Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine is recruiting a pediatric cardiologist with an interest in non-invasive imagining at the assistant to associate professor level. This individual will join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and should be board eligible or certified in pediatric cardiology with additional training in echocardiography. The successful candidate will join a group of pediatric cardiologist to provide imaging support for a very active clinical program performing over 11,000 echocardiograms per year. Requisite skills include interpretation of transthoracic, transesophageal and fetal echocardiograms. Performance and interpretation of 3D echo is desirable but not mandatory. Interest and performance of imaging research is also desired.
St Louis Children’s Hospital is one of the premier children’s hospitals in the country. The Heart Center has very active and robust surgical, transplant, interventional, and electrophysiology programs. There are 38 beds within the Heart Center caring for a wide range of very complex cardiac patients. In addition, we have very active outreach clinics and draw patients from throughout the Midwest as well as nationally.
Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Cardiology
Additional training in echocardiography, non-invasive imaging and/or adult congenital heart disease, preferred not required. Performance and interpretation of 3D echo is desirable but not mandatory. Interest and performance of imaging research is also desired.
