Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) is seeking applications from outstanding Ph.D. and/or M.D. candidates for tenure-track faculty positions at all levels. MIR is committed to advancing imaging sciences from basic science to translation of molecular imaging and therapeutic discoveries to man. We seek applicants who are committed to developing a multi-disciplinary research program in a broad range of disease domains and applications with an emphasis on translational molecular imaging and therapy.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Novel molecular imaging agents or contrast agents
Disease detection, image-guided therapy, and theranostics
Computational imaging, machine learning, and decision science (artificial intelligence)
Imaging physics, engineering, and instrumentation
Cost effectiveness, quality, and clinical trials

It is expected that the applicants will have a track record of publications and success in external funding through grants and contracts. The successful candidate is expected to lead a rigorous extramurally funded research program interfacing with the MIR’s research labs, translational imaging facilities and Washington University School of Medicine.
