Pediatric Radiologist
The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis, MO is seeking an academic pediatric radiologist to be a part of our Pediatric Radiology section. This individual will be a part of a dynamic group of 10 university faculty, a fellowship program and a radiology residency program. Residents from the highly-rated MIR radiology program, the largest in the country, rotate through the pediatric section routinely.
We specialize in kids! The Pediatric Radiology section provides all the imaging services for St. Louis Children’s Hospital and is the largest pediatric radiology team in the region performing more than 100,000 imaging exams annually. St Louis Children’s Hospital is a 390 bed tertiary care children’s hospital and is ranked nationally in 10 pediatric specialties. The St. Louis Children’s Hospital is immediately contiguous with the 1400 Barnes Jewish Hospital which has state of the art services including PET/MRI imaging. Imaging services are also provided at an outpatient Children’s Specialty Care Center in suburban St. Louis County.
The candidate should have completed a pediatric radiology fellowship with an ABR CAQ in Pediatric Radiology or be CAQ eligible. Although not a requirement, NIH funding or the potential for peer-reviewed funding is welcome. Academic accomplishments in the domains of clinical service, education and/or research are key requisites.
