Adult Primary Care Physician
At Washington University School of Medicine, we take pride in our mission to lead in the advancement of human health through the very best clinical care, innovative research and the education of tomorrow’s leaders in biomedicine, in a culture that supports diversity, inclusion, critical thinking and creativity. Primary care serves as a cornerstone of comprehensive health care for all patients and Washington University School of Medicine is expanding its primary care provider base as part of its mission.
Washington University Clinical Associates (WUCA) is seeking general internal medicine physicians to join established primary care group practices located in the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area.
WUCA physicians are provided a unique opportunity where they are employed by Washington University, with a voluntary faculty appointment at the School of Medicine, yet they practice in smaller group practices throughout the community. Our primary care physicians have an active, meaningful role in management of their clinical practices, in private practice-like settings, while enjoying the benefits and resources that come with being part of an academic organization. WUCA physicians are also often involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
WUCA employed physicians have access to the University’s comprehensive benefit package. Eligible candidates may also have access to our Student Loan Assistance Program for educational loan forgiveness. Salaries are market competitive and commensurate with experience, with significant bonus opportunities available.
Our openings are wonderful opportunities for new graduates or experienced MDs. For further information, please call or e-mail Brenda Ocello at 314-747-6519 or bocello@wustl.edu.
