Faculty position at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Division of Basic Science Research
A faculty position is available at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level with expertise in basic or translational studies in Reproductive Science. This is a full-time, tenure-track appointment. Successful applicants must have a PhD, MD, MD PhD, or DVM. The candidate must have experience developing and conducting research related to women’s health, contraception, male or female infertility, pregnancy complications such as preterm birth, reproductive cancers, urogynecology, or menopause.
We are seeking to recruit a candidate whose research will target areas of infectious diseases, uterine biology, genomic/genetics, infertility, reproductive cancers, endocrinopathies, and gamete biology.
Our vision is to be a division of translational investigators dedicated to performing outstanding basic and translational research studies aimed at improving women’s overall and reproductive health. Our goals will be to identify the most critical areas of current women’s health research; to collaborate with others in the Washington University community and thus reinforce research efforts in these areas; to facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations to fill in the knowledge gap; to enhance educational opportunities in reproductive sciences; and to establish a community of Women’s Reproductive Science Research at Washington University.
