Neurointesivists (UCNS certified or eligible)

The Department of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine is seeking to recruit a UCNS certified or eligible neurointensivist for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Neurocritical Care as a clinician/educator. This is an excellent opportunity to join six academic neurointensivists staffing an expanding 44-bed, dedicated neurology and neurosurgery ICU linked with a large step down unit and comprehensive inpatient Neurology and Neurosurgery services.  Furthermore, prospective candidates will contribute to the formation and training of a growing number of Neurocritical care fellows. They will also benefit from Washington University’s extensive research infrastructure as evidenced by our track record of successful clinical and research productivity as well as faculty development.

The Department of Neurology employs over 100 faculty and offers neurological care in all subspecialties.  Affiliated hospitals include Barnes-Jewish (BJH), Barnes-Jewish West County (BJWC), St. Louis Children’s Hospital (SLCH), and the Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis. We are committed to the recruitment of candidates traditionally underrepresented on university faculties. Individuals of any race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation are encouraged to apply, as are disabled individuals and veterans. The School of Medicine at Washington University is committed to finding solutions to global health problems, including ones that affect minority and disadvantaged populations.
