Pediatric Anesthesiologist
The Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine is seeking full time Academic Pediatric Anesthesiologists for the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology. Faculty appointment level will depend on the applicant’s credentials and experience. The division is currently made up of 26 faculty members providing clinical care in the operating rooms, critical care units, and remote sites including the cardiac catherization and interventional radiology suites at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. In addition, the division provides clinical care for the Shriners Hospital and the Children’s Specialty Care Center in St. Louis. The faculty member is also expected to be active in the academic missions of the department, including teaching pediatric anesthesiology fellows, residents and medical students. The Department of Anesthesiology with over 140 faculty members is a national leader in research and will provide a rich environment for applicants that wish to develop their careers in the areas of basic, clinical, and translational research as well as education and quality improvement.
